Computer-Based TOEFL
Computer Based TOEFL examination was started in 1998, a candidate can achieve a maximum of 300 points under CBT. It has 4 sections that include, Grammar, Reading, Writing, and Listening. The Grammar and Listening sections of CBT are adaptive, which means the questions you receive are based on your level of English. As a candidate, you should know that easy-to-answer questions carry fewer points if you want to enhance your score, you need to improve your level of English.
Internet Based TOEFL
Internet Based Test (IBT) was started in 2005. It is the online version of the TOEFL exam for candidates who want to take the language exam to immigrate abroad. 98 percent of candidates have selected TOEFL IBT over other TOEFL types worldwide which makes it the most preferred mode of the exam. Internet Based Test uses very less resources and it is more convenient to take for Candidates.

TOEFL Junior

What is the TOEFL Exam Pattern?

TOEFL Writing
- Time Duration – 50 minutes
- Score Range – 0 to 30 Points
- Number of writing tasks – 2
Writing Task 1 – Candidates will have to read a passage on a certain topic or subject, listen to a lecture on that specific topic, and then write an essay in which you have to summarize the passage that you read and listen.
Writing Task 2 – Candidates will have to provide their responses or viewpoints as needed for the task.
TOEFL Reading:
- Score Range – 0 to 30 Points
- Duration – 54 to 72 minutes
- Number of Questions – 30 to 40
- Candidates will have 3 or 4 passages
- Every passage will have a set of questions, candidates will have to answer the questions.
TOEFL Listening:
- Score Range – 0 to 30 Points
- Duration – 41 to 57 minutes
- Number of Questions – 28 to 39
- Candidates will have to listen to academic lectures audio recordings, conversations, and discussions.
- The recordings will contain questions based on the lectures/discussions that candidates will have to answer.
TOEFL Speaking
- Score Range – 0 to 30 Points
- Duration – 17 minutes
- Number of speaking tasks – 4
- Candidates will have to give their opinion on a specific topic
- Based on reading and listening tasks, candidates will be needed to speak
- Candidates have to answer all three sections with two questions in each section.
TOEFL Test Score
