11. I am in the process of adopting a child. Can I begin the sponsorship process before the adoption is final?

Yes. You can start the sponsorship process when the adoption is in its final stages but you should also know that your sponsorship application will not be processed until the whole process of adoption is completed.

12. How can I demonstrate my relationship with the individual I intend to sponsor to immigrate to Canada?

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) provides procedures or guidelines on how to prove your relationship in your application.

The conditions and requirements depend on the individual you intend to sponsor.
